Commonwealth Hotel: This Friday 6:30pm presented by the Commonwealth Hotel & Lun "E" Promotions at the Loona Lounge ************ RAIN ********* noun - the condensed moisture of the atmosphere falling visibly in separate drops. eg. "the rain had not stopped for days" A song with the word RAIN. The Cool Rules. There are no rules, but here are some guidelines. 1.The word has to be in the song. 2. Song does not have to be about "Rain" at all. 2.Can be an unfinished song that you incorporate "rain" in to finish that song. 3. Must be your original work, collaborations are ok. 4. Performance preference given to song challengers, done by a draw for performing spots. 5. Only original music performed on Songwriting nights, no covers. 6. If you are going into the challenge, email lunepromotions@gmail.com to register you act and your song title. 7. We are only able to accept " unplugged" performances. Bands welcome but unplugged. Please call for clarification. 8. Judging is via "Peoples Choice" and " Loona Lounge Choice" 9. Voting for acts accepted only after final performer and only one vote per person. 10. Prizes TBA -but will include something music orientated.
